04:21 CET - That does it! Alexander Zverev completes his third straight-set win this tournament after defeating Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 7-5, 6-1.
He now reaches the US Open semi-finals for the third time in his career and the first since 2021, when he lost to Novak Djokovic in five sets.
It'll be a showdown between him and Karen Khachanov, as the winner will face either Ben Shelton or Frances Tiafoe.
03:47 CET - That's the second set! Zverev takes a commanding 2-0 lead after beating out Van de Zandschulp 7-5.
The second set took almost exactly twice the amount of time (1 hr 5 min) as the first. Should Zverev pull off the win in the third set, it will make it three straight-set wins for the No. 1 seed this tournament.

01:05 CET - Karen Khachanov advances after Alexander Blockx retires during the third set due to injury (6-2, 7-5, 3-2).
He now heads to his first Grand Slam semi-final in three years and his third overall.
Following his fourth-round win against Francisco Cerundolo, Blockx already had a fear of retiring during the match before the final set, stating, “I think if I’d have lost the 3rd set, I think the chances were really high of me retiring. Even before the match, I was already under medication. So if you feel that much pain while having a lot of medication, that's not a good sign.”

22:41 CET - Coco Gauff has completed her comeback to defeat Mirra Andreeva and reach the US Open semi-finals!
The American just never knows when she is beaten, and it is her fighting spirit that prevailed in a big match once again. If Gauff battled to take the second set, she stormed past Andreeva in the decider after dropping just two games and forcing the double break.
22:08 CET - She's back from the dead! Coco Gauff survives two match points to win the second set 7-6(7) over Mirra Andreeva and send us to a decider.
Gauff took control of the net in the second, as she also overturned her opponent on winners, too.

20:49 CET - Trouble for Coco Gauff! The former US Open champion finds herself a set down against Mirra Andreeva as the Russian won the opener 6-2.
Andreeva hit 10 winners to Gauff's three to really drive home her advantage, whilst not conceding a break point on serve and converting the two chances she had. Clinical from the fifth seed.
19:58 CET - Elena Rybakina is into the US Open semi-final, AND she is now the world number one for the first time in her career!
The Kazakh battled from a set down to end the incredible run of Qinwen Zheng, defeating the Chinese star 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. Rybakina had a slow start, and nerves may have been an issue with so much on the line.
However, once she gathered herself, she played some really impressive tennis and is into the last four in New York for the first time ever.
Zheng has plenty of reasons to be positive, though. This was her eighth match of the tournament after coming through qualifying, and she looks like she is close to returning to her best after a horrible elbow injury. She will climb all the way up to 52nd in the world from 121st.
And on Monday, when the rankings are updated, Rybakina will be at the top of the world. A mighty achievement in a fantastic year for the Australian Open champion, but she still has a job to do at Flushing Meadows. She will face the winner of Mirra Andreeva vs Coco Gauff, which is coming up next.

The four quarter-finals already played were truly extraordinary, with Ben Shelton's epic victory over defending champion Carlos Alcaraz ending one of the great days in Grand Slam history.
Can today's action live up to that?
First up, Elena Rybakina takes on Chinese star Qinwen Zheng for a spot in the semi-finals, but there is so much more at stake. Should Rybakina win, she will become the world number one for the first time - a remarkable achievement which would end Aryna Sabalenka's streak of 99-straight weeks at the summit.
The Kazakh was in formidable form against Naomi Osaka in the last round, but comeback queen Zheng stands in her way. The former world number four and Olympic champion has struggled with a serious arm injury over the last 18 months, but she is enjoying a stunning resurgence.
After coming through qualifying, Zheng has seen off both Madison Keys and Iga Swiatek, having battled back from 0-5 down in a set against both players. Can she produce another incredible result?
That is followed by a blockbuster face-off between young superstars Coco Gauff and Mirra Andreeva.
Former champion Gauff has been many people's favourites to pick up a third Grand Slam title, but Roland Garros winner Andreeva has slowly started to return to her best after a bit of a dip following her triumph in Paris.
Gauff does lead the head-to-head 5-0, though, so clearly she enjoys this matchup.
Following those matches, the men's quarter-finals begin, as former semi-finalist Karen Khachanov takes on breakout star Alexander Blockx.
However, the Belgian suffered an injury in his last-16 victory, and it is unclear whether he will be fit enough to take to the court.
Finally, top seed Alexander Zverev faces Botic van de Zandschulp, as he looks to avoid another late-night finish.
The German has a real chance to lift his second Grand Slam title after winning in the French capital earlier this year, but Van de Zandschulp could be a tricky test - if he has recovered from a five-hour, 20-minute thriller in the previous round.
