23:04 CET - As we sign off our Football Tracker for the weekend, we have some breaking news to bring you.
After Erling Haaland's controversial winner for Manchester City against Manchester United, where Enzo Fernandez attempted to play the ball whilst in an offside position, Pro Ref have announced that the goal should not have stood.
They have said that on-field review should have taken place in order to determine whether City's new signing had an impact on the goal. This did not happen, and it proved to be the moment of the match.

22:55 CET - Jonathan David is off the mark in the red and white of Atletico Madrid! The Canadian international scores in second-half stoppage time to seal a 3-0 win over Real Sociedad, where Los Rojiblancos had to leave it late to secure all three points.
Before David's maiden strike, Alejandro Grimaldo scored from the spot in the 84th minute to break the game open, and there was still time for Giuliano Simeone to get on the scoresheet too.
22:40 CET - PSG are up and running for the season in Ligue 1. A seventh-minute strike from Ferran Torres was the difference as they beat Brest 1-0, as the home side paid tribute to former coach Eric Roy, who passed away in June.
The win moves the Parisiens up to seventh in the standings.
22:35 CET - What a dramatic ending at Sassuolo! Kieron Bowie thought he had won it for the hosts against Juventus with a late strike, only for Edon Zhegrova to pop up with his second of the game to rescue a point for the 'Old Lady'.
But the home side had the last laugh - Vasilije Adzic, on loan from Juventus, scoring in the final seconds of the clash to see them win a 3-2 thriller.
22:24 CET - Big goal for Juventus, who restore parity at Sassuolo. They have Edon Zhegrova to thank for the leveller - the first Serie A goal as a Juve player for the Kosovo native. Still 10 minutes there to find a winner - follow it here.
22:07 CET - Juventus are behind at Sassuolo midway through the second half after Sebastiano Esposito opens the scoring for the hosts after a lovely through ball from wily veteran Nemanja Matic.
21:33 CET - PSG are halfway to a first victory in Ligue 1 this season as they lead Brest 1-0 at the break.
Ferran Torres put the visitors ahead in the fifth minute, but there will be concern for Luis Enrique, who had to take Achraf Hakimi off with an injury.
20:55 CET - Our final game of the night sees Real Sociedad entertaining Atletico Madrid at Anoeta.
Julian Alvarez is out of the matchday squad for Atleti with a muscle injury, as Ademola Lookman and Kang-In Lee lead the line for the visitors.

20:37 CET - Just a few minutes until our final game of the day in Serie A, where Juventus head to Sassuolo knowing a win would put them top of the table, albeit briefly.
20:19 CET - A touching tribute has been paid ahead of Brest's match against PSG to their former manager Eric Roy, who passed away in June after a three-year battle with cancer.
The French coach saved them from relegation before leading them to the Champions League. Club president Denis Le Saint laid a wreath outside the stadium by a mural.
On the pitch, PSG are looking for their first win of the Ligue 1 season on their fourth attempt.

19:55 CET - Massimiliano Allegri’s Napoli have edged Bologna 1-0 in Serie A to snap a three-match losing run across competitions and crawl up to ninth in the standings. Domenico Tedesco's side, meanwhile, have yet to win this season, worryingly for their fans.

19:26 CET - Over in the Bundesliga, Bayern have been made to work hard by Elversberg as the reigning champions escape with a 2-1 win.
A remarkable result looked on the cards when home substitute Maurice Krattenmacher cancelled out Lennart Karl's opener, but Harry Kane was on hand to seal all three points for the Bavarians in the 72nd minute.
19:22 CET - All over at Old Trafford and how important these three points could prove to Manchester City as they come away from the derby 1-0 winners.
Erling Haaland's controversial winner will be the talk of the town, as will Phil Foden's sending off in the first half, but Manchester United's fans will be frustrated more by their team's ineffectiveness in attack. They did hit the post twice from range; however, they rarely threatened despite the player advantage.

19:06 CET - It continues to be a positive start to the season for Le Mans after promotion, as they have picked up their third draw in four games. The hosts raced into a two-goal lead before Lens battled back with goals either side of half-time to make it 2-2.
18:50 CET - Controversy at Old Trafford as Manchester City take the lead through Erling Haaland! A deflected cross passes a diving Enzo Fernandez, who was offside, and makes it way through to the striker, who also looked marginally offside, and he slots it home. Originally the flag goes up, but after a long VAR pause, it's given - much to the shock of the United fans.
In any case, it's a sucker punch from City's 10 men.
18:38 CET - One key to Manchester United's plan has been to keep Erling Haaland quiet. The powerhouse striker has had just 12 touches in the game, and with City down to 10, his chances will be limited in the second half.
At the other end, Kobbie Mainoo's stunning effort beats Gianluigi Donnarumma but not the post - the second time the home side has struck the upright in the game. Momentum, Manchester United.
18:33 CET - A change at the break for the 10 men of Manchester City, with Rayan Cherki off and Iliman Ndiaye on for a bit more pace.

18:18 CET - Half-time at Old Trafford, and it's Manchester United who have come closest, with Marcus Rashford hitting the post with a vicious free-kick. It is backs against the wall for Manchester City after losing Phil Foden to a red card.
Can the Red Devils take advantage in the second half?
Elsewhere, a late Karim Adeyemi goal for Barcelona sees them remain perfect in LaLiga, despite a spirited Levante comeback. The Catalans were 3-0 up with Lamine Yamal scoring twice, before the hosts pulled two back late on to set up a grandstand finish. That was quashed by Adeyemi in stoppage time.
In the Bundesliga, newly-promoted Elversberg are more than holding their own against champions Bayern Munich, but they still find themselves behind at the break thanks to a strike from Lennart Karl. The home side have had a goal chalked off by VAR which would have been a stunning leveller.
17:53 CET - Phil Foden has been sent off for Manchester City! The Englishman was challenged by Bruno Fernandes, and he reacts by kicking out, striking the Portuguese midfielder in the stomach, giving Michael Oliver no choice but to give him a red card.
It's silly, and it gives his side a difficult afternoon with 65 minutes left to play. It's the first dismissal in the derby in a decade.
17:36 CET - Old Trafford is booming as the Manchester derby gets going at a typically ferocious pace. It's not been a happy fixture for United in the last couple of decades; their last back-to-back home wins over City were under the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson. They would love to change that today.
17:23 CET - Five conceded for the second successive game sees Hamburg thrashed by RB Leipzig.
The hosts saw five different players score in the win as Leipzig make it two wins from three to start their Bundesliga campaign.
16:54 CET - Another tough day at the office for Coventry City - they remain pointless after four games in the Premier League after Brighton handed them a 5-0 thrashing.
The pick of the goals from the Seagulls was from Lewis Dunk, who smashed one into the top corner from 30 yards.
Meanwhile, Lille have moved top of Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Troyes.
16:20 CET - The lineups are in for today's main event, the Manchester derby at Old Trafford, which kicks off at 17:30 CET.
Marcus Rashford starts on the left for the hosts, alongside Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in attack. For City, Erling Haaland leads the line as expected, with Phil Foden selected, while big-money signing Enzo Fernandez starts in midfield.
15:44 CET - The first Old Firm derby of the season has gone the way of Rangers, who have thumped bitter rivals Celtic 3-0 in the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup this afternoon. Daniel Neil starred with two goals for the Gers.
The Bhoys won't have to wait too long for revenge over their old enemies... The Glasgow giants meet again in the league next Sunday at Celtic Park!

15:15 CET - As mentioned below, Hansi Flick's Barcelona are looking to make it five wins from five in LaLiga today, when they face Levante at 16:15 CET. Including Champions League and pre-season, they are on a seven-match winning run, scoring five times in five of those games, quite remarkably.
Today, Flick has picked nine Spaniards in his XI, with Raphinha and Anthony Gordon the only non-Spanish players. Lamine Yamal, Rodri, Pedri and Fermin all start for the Catalans.
14:00 CET - There are just two matches in the Premier League today. Before the Manchester derby, Coventry host Brighton, looking for their first points of the season, from 15:00 CET.
It hasn't been an easy start to life in the top tier for Frank Lampard's men, who have conceded five goals in three matches and scored none... Will today be their day? For what it's worth, Brighton haven't won since their opening-round demolition of Villa, so there is hope for the Sky Blues!

23:15 CET - Another day of league football done across the continent, with some big storylines beginning to emerge. As Arsenal win again by digging out a 2-0 victory against Sunderland, questions are rising about who will be their main challengers. Manchester City, who play tomorrow, can match them with four wins from four, but Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham continue to struggle as the trio all dropped points at home today.
There is plenty to look forward to tomorrow, with the Manchester Derby, Bayern's visit to newly-promoted Elversberg, as well as PSG's trip to Brest after their slow start to the season.

23:00 CET - All over at the Bernabeu, where Real Madrid make it four wins from five in LaLiga with a 4-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano.
Three first-half goals gave Los Blancos a cushion that they held throughout the game before Kylian Mbappe scored his second of the game late on.
22:55 CET - It's been a game of grit for Arsenal, who come away from Sunderland with a 2-0 victory after a night that has really tested the champions.
A super goal from Bruno Guimaraes and a late penalty from Bukayo Saka sealed the three points, but Sunderland had their chances, including a missed penalty.
22:16 CET - It's been a dramatic couple of minutes at the Stadium of Light as Arsenal lead Sunderland 1-0 thanks to a stunner from former Newcastle man Bruno Guimaraes - his first goal for the reigning champions.
He whips into the top corner from outside the box, just seconds after David Raya saved a Sunderland penalty from Enzo Le Fee.
22:00 CET - Over at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid look on course for a convincing win over Rayo Vallecano with a 3-0 lead at the break.
Kylian Mbappe, Alvaro Carreras and Jude Bellingham have all got on the scoresheet.
20:46 CET - Over to Spain, where Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano do battle in a city derby.
It's a first start for Yan Diomande for Real after moving from RB Leipzig, following five substitute appearances. He joins Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior in a tantalising trio.
20:35 CET - Tottenham's London rivals, Arsenal, round off the action in the Premier League today, as they travel to Sunderland.
The reigning champions have started their defence in perfect fashion, winning their first three games. If they make it four from four tonight, it will be the sixth time in their history, and the Black Cats don't have a good record in the fixture, winning just once in the teams' last 29 meetings.

20:22 CET - More boos at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as the hosts make unwanted history. It's their fourth game without scoring in the Premier League as they draw 0-0 with Everton, the first time they have started in this vein since they were founded.
It was a game where they had the majority of the ball, but their misfiring frontline were unable to take the chances.
19:55 CET - Super sub Diego Moreira scored two goals in two minutes in just his second appearance for AC Milan, with the Rossoneri coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with hosts Lazio in Serie A!
Both sides remain unbeaten after the draw, with Lazio going top of the table, albeit in disappointing circumstances for Gennaro Gattuso’s men, who will have wanted to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.
19:14 CET - Strasbourg have held Ligue 1 pacesetters Monaco to a 1-1 draw in Alsace in the first clash of the day in France. Despite the points dropped, the Principality club are back to first in the standings, but Paris FC and Lyon can pip them to top spot on goal difference with a win this evening. Those two sides play each other in the pick of four late games there today.

17:56 CET - Carnage in the Premier League this afternoon, with upsets aplenty. At Anfield, it's been a disappointing day for Liverpool as they played out a goalless draw against Fulham, where the Reds spurned four big chances to win the game. On his first start in the Premier League, Bradley Barcola missed one of those opportunities as he struggled to get into the game, eventually being subbed off in the 72nd minute. Liverpool have drawn three of their opening four Premier League games, as life under Andoni Iraola continues their teething problems.
It was the same story at Chelsea. Hull City twice took the lead at Stamford Bridge before the Blues responded to snatch a draw in an entertaining affair where both sides had decent shouts to win the game. The Tigers remain unbeaten after four games since promotion.
Elsewhere, a late goal from new signing Zian Flemming saw Ipswich Town secure three valuable points on the road at Selhurst Park as the Tractor Boys won 3-2 against the 10 men of Crystal Palace. There was a late winner at Villa Park, where Nottingham Forest's hero was Igor Jesus. He scored in the 88th minute to see them beat Aston Villa 2-1, as the hosts continue to look shaky with a new-look squad.

17:23 CET - It's been a superb afternoon for Borussia Dortmund, who have seen off Paderborn 3-0 as substitute Felix Nmecha scores two in the second half. It could have been a lot more, too, if Serhou Guirassy had stayed onside - the striker had two goals disallowed by VAR in the first half. Despite that, Dortmund have made it three wins from three to start their domestic campaign.
Elsewhere, Patrik Schick saved a point for Bayer Leverkusen as they drew 2-2 with Augsburg and another Czech international, Adam Hlozek, has seen Hoffenheim beat Stuttgart 2-1 at home.

16:51 CET - Half-time across the Premier League, and the big news comes from Stamford Bridge, where despite going a goal behind after Morgan Rogers netted, it's Hull City - the upstarts - who lead 2-1 against Chelsea.
A six-minute, two-goal blitz from Mohamed Belloumi has put the promoted side ahead. If it stands, they will already be on 10 points from four games, an incredible start from the Tigers who currently sit atop the table. Even more remarkable is that Belloumi netted just three times in the Championship last season. Still 45 minutes to play in the capital, so plenty of time for that to change.
Elsewhere, another promoted side are ahead, with Ipswich Town 2-1 up at Crystal Palace and the Tractor Boys also have a man advantage after Axel Disasi was shown his marching orders for serious foul play.
15:58 CET - We've got our first result of the day from Europe's top leagues, and with that our first star performance. Kicking off the day in Spain, Racing Santander have edged Deportivo Alaves 2-1, thanks to a brace from 21-year-old striker Yassir Zabiri, who is on loan from French club Rennes.
Zabiri already scored a hat-trick in Racing's win over Elche two rounds ago, and with today's performance (which earned him a ScoresStat player rating of 9.1), he now has five LaLiga goals after five games and just three starts. Remember the name!
15:11 CET - There are five 16:00 CET kick-offs in the Premier League this afternoon, including home matches for Liverpool and Chelsea against Fulham and Hull City, respectively.
Big-money signing Bradley Barcola makes his first Premier League start for the Reds, while Chelsea's attacking trio of Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro line up against the in-form Tigers.

While in good form, BVB have been unlucky in losing a couple of players to injury already this season, meaning there is a place in the starting XI for young Arsenal loanee Ethan Nwaneri today, as well as England's Jobe Bellingham and summer signing Joey Veerman.

Before we turn our attention to Saturday's matches, it was a busy Friday evening across several of Europe's top leagues, as Adrien Thomasson fired Rennes to a 1-0 victory over Marseille, lifting Les Rouge et Noirs to the summit of Ligue 1.
Over in LaLiga, Sevilla moved up to third after Juan Iglesias' late strike secured a narrow 1-0 win over rock-bottom Valencia, while in the Bundesliga, Schalke picked up their first top-flight victory since 2022/23, beating Union Berlin 3-1.
Finally, in Serie A, a hat-trick from Real Madrid loanee Franco Mastantuono inspired Fiorentina to a morale-boosting 4-2 triumph at lowly Venezia.
