02:25 CET - She has done it! Coco Gauff reclaims her Cincinnati Open title after taking down fellow American Jessica Pegula in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
Gauff went up 5-2 in the second set as Pegula tried to battle back. But the now two-time Cincinnati Open champion held her off just enough for her ninth win in her last 10 matches.
This now marks her first Masters title of the year and her fourth overall. Gauff has now won at least one Masters title in each year dating back to Cinci in 2023 (China Open - 2024, Wuhan Open - 2025).
The last time she won the title in Cinci, Gauff went on to defeat Aryna Sabalenka at the U.S. Open.
She has 40 wins in 2026, with four of them coming against top-10 opponents.

It's now Fils' second title of the year (fifth overall) after winning the Barcelona Open in April, as he is now 8-0 vs. Americans since the start of 2025. With the US Open coming up, Fils is catching fire at the perfect time.

20:00 CET - Good evening and welcome back to our Tennis Tracker ahead of both finals in Cincinnati.
First up, at 22:30 CET, is Arthur Fils against Frances Tiafoe.
Both have won four ATP titles in the past, but this would be the biggest of their careers. The American, Tiafoe, has been here before on this court, where he lost to Jannik Sinner in straight sets two years ago.
It is new ground for the Frenchman, who has never played in a Masters final.
They have met just once before, making this an intriguing spectacle, with Fils beating Tiafoe in Miami last year over three sets.
Later on in the WTA 1000 event, it's an all-American affair where Jessica Pegula faces Coco Gauff.
We are expecting tension in this one, with no clear favourite and one that could go the distance.
Pegula leads the head-to-head 5-4, including going 4-1 on hard courts.
For what it is worth, Gauff won their latest encounter in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon a few months ago, but only after rallying from a set down.
